Key Job Accountabilities 主要職務The Group Product Manager is a strategic leader responsible for defining and driving the overall brand and product portfolio strategy. This role leads a team, ensures market success across multiple product lines, and collaborates extensively with global stakeholders to achieve significant business growth.
Strategic Brand & Portfolio Management: Define local brand strategy aligned with international positioning, overseeing overall brand development and prioritizing the product portfolio for new launches and pillar products.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing product marketing team, fostering expertise and know-how within the organization.
Global & Local Market Leadership: Drive international product launches with full process ownership, creating effective local market strategies, and collaborating extensively with oversea stakeholders.
Advanced Market & Consumer Insights: Generate deep consumer insights and monitor local trends, providing critical feedback to headquarters for strategic portfolio development.
Marketing & Financial Stewardship: Lead local adaptation of advertising materials, strategically influence media/promotion recommendations, manage budgets, and analyze financial implications of forecasts.
Cross-Functional Mobilization: Proactively mobilize and effectively collaborate with diverse internal departments to support comprehensive marketing strategies and action plans.
Must Have Aspects 必須項目
Experience: 8+ years of experience in product marketing or brand management
Strategic Acumen: Proven expertise in holistic brand strategy, extensive portfolio management, and advanced market analysis.
Leadership & People Management: Exceptional leadership skills with a strong track record of recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
Global Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with and influence international/oversea stakeholders.
Analytical & Financial Prowess: Robust analytical capabilities in market research, data interpretation, budget management, and financial forecasting (P&L, expansion analysis).
Market & Consumer Expertise: Profound understanding of local retail dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Language: Business-level to fluent proficiency in Japanese and English
Preferred Qualification 希望項目
FMCG or cosmetic industry background.
In-depth knowledge of advertising and media planning strategies.
