Data & Analytics Product Manager - SupplyPurpose of Role
- Manage an analytics team responsible for building and evolving descriptive, diagnostic, predictive & prescriptive products to support better, faster decisions.
- Build and evolve a self-service ecosystem which enables the democratisation of analytics.
- Own the product strategy and roadmap.
- Implement and evolve outstanding approach to reporting & data enablement through a robust and consistent improvement process.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop appropriate data analytics, models, reporting and visualization solutions to address them.
- Own an analytics product feature and release roadmap based on business strategies, in-depth data analysis, and a clear understanding of business and end user needs.
- Drive value-based prioritization by assessing the benefits of different data product solutions and the trade-offs between customer needs, technology requirements and costs.
- Collaborate with technical partners that help facilitate strategic objectives and drive business plans, road maps, and requirements.
- Drive utilisation and adoption of analytics products within specific functions and effectively communicate value drops to stakeholders and potential users.
Experience / skills required:
- 8+ experience in Data/Analytics.
- Master's degree (M.A., M.S., or MBA) in information technology, computer science, economics, statistics, engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics, reporting, and data products within a CPG.
- 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional, highly analytical, and technical teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within sophisticated contexts.
- Experience with sophisticated analytic techniques, such as factor analysis, predictive modelling, logistic regression, cluster analysis, segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising efficiency, consumer profiling, marketing mix and ROI measurement
- 2+ years of relevant product or program management experience in B2B wholesale distribution, e-commerce, finance, retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven history of delivering results.
