Here is a great opportunity to learn and work for a leading Fortune 500 company. This fast-paced environment will have you working in their Defense sector working with many types of Business Development opportunities. You will work mostly remote with potential travel to certain events and able to complete internal Leidos training to help further your upcoming career.Program Integration, Business Development Team is looking for interns interested in a career in Business Development. This position is an excellent opportunity for a college student with a Business background to support the Defense Growth team.
This position will require an individual with excellent adaptability, organization, communication skills, and is instinctively proactive in nature. The ideal candidate would understand many business-related fundamentals as well as sales concepts and terms.
In this role, the candidate will need to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, understand prioritization, have attention to detail, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
This position primarily supports the VP of Growth for Program Integration, Defense sector.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the VP of Growth for Program Integration
- Assist Business Development Operations Analyst with Business Development action items as requested
- Coordinate and schedule meetings
- Accurate, organized, and punctual note taking abilities with after action report delivery
- Self-Starter
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business development, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field of study
- US Citizenship Required
- In good academic standing (GPA 2.5 or higher)
- Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Complete tasks individually and as a team participant
- Have a basic understanding of business management terms
- Strong desire and ability to keep organized
- Candidate should be available 20-40 hours per week. Hours can vary based on workload and candidate's school schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Experience with multiple software applications
- Prefer candidates local to Huntsville, AL or remote. 90% telework. 10% local office work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range:
Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
