The Assistant Director of Marketing and Conferences is responsible for the overall marketing plan for NDSU Residence Life, including social media, communications, and customer care. Additionally, this person is responsible for the recruitment, management, and administration of summer conference housing. As a member of the central management team for Residence Life, this position contributes to the overall administration of the Department, including assessment and budget processes.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, hotel management, or related field; Experience coordinating concentrated marketing, outreach, and social media communication; Good computer skills; Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively; Demonstrated project planning success; Demonstrated success as a team player; Demonstrated commitment to social justice and diversity
