The Director of Marketing Communications is a senior-level position responsible for the overall effectiveness of marketing communications for Pitt Business, which includes the Katz Graduate School of Business, the College of Business Administration, and their affiliated programs and centers. Areas of responsibility include developing and implementing a corporate (central) marketing strategy and communication plan for Pitt Business; assisting programs, centers and key staff functions (recruitment, placement, alumni relations, development) in the development of integrated marketing and communications plans for their units; coordinating schoolwide efforts to manage the brand and reputation of Katz and CBA; and effectively managing executive communications. One of the priorities of the position will be to evaluate the school's marketing communications efforts, measure performance and adjust operating budget and resource allocations to increase effectiveness.

Master's degree preferred; must have good verbal, written and interpersonal skills, as well as attention to detail, good news sense and strong organizational/supervisory skills.
