Position Summary: Inside Sales is responsible for directly selling Proveris Scientific Corporation’s products and services, increasing revenue and product profitability, and directing, managing, and growing the company’s sales efforts within the Inside Sales Territory. The individual will work with and track activities in Proveris’s CRM system (salesforce.com), complete support plan renewals, and generate new support plan sales. The individual will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sell Proveris’s products and services assigned to inside sales territory.
Perform account research and lead qualification for field sales team
Provide logistics and sales support for sales team, including external sales consultants
Assist with sales and service contract review
Sell support plan renewals.
Sell new support plans.
Develop and execute against annual sales goals and bookings targets.
Maintain contacts and records, and track activities, in Proveris’s CRM system.
Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system.
Initiate corrective actions related to the function areas listed above.
Initiate preventive actions related to any product or process.
Minimum of 3 years of in-house sales and marketing experience working for a small company is preferable.
Self-starter, ability to manage and drive workload in a timely fashion.
Working knowledge of internationally recognized quality management system (i.e. ISO9001, or cGxP) environment would be beneficial.
Excellent time/task management, interpersonal, communications, and writing skills.
High level of proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and QuickBooks software packages.
“Hands-on” personality with a proven ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment.
