The Department of Marketing of the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington D.C. invites applications for a term faculty position at the rank of Professorial Lecturer or Executive in Residence for the Academic Year 2017-18. The initial term of the appointment will be one-year renewable and it will commence on August 28, 2017.
--For Professorial Lecturer position, Ph.D. in Marketing or anticipated completion by August 2017.
-- For Executive in Residence Position: A graduate degree in a relevant field with substantial business and/or nonprofit organization experience in marketing which qualifies the individual to teach a variety of marketing courses.
-- Teaching experience in one or more of the following courses is preferred: principles of marketing, consumer behavior, marketing research, digital marketing.
-- Demonstrated ability to teach marketing at an outstanding level to undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Responsibilities include teaching three courses at the undergraduate/graduate level each semester, and service to the department, school, and university.
