The Physician Marketing Liaison will be responsible for developing the strategic outreach position, which is tied to the UK HealthCare marketing plan and leaderships goals. The purpose of the liaison position is to grow and build professional relationships between community providers and UK HealthCare. This person is responsible for marketing UK HealthCare clinical specialties to providers in their assigned geographic area in Kentucky and adjacent regions. The liaison will be required to collaborate with other members of the liaison team, marketing service line, marketing and communications, executive leadership, UK departmental directors, clinical chairs, chiefs and staff. In addition, the liaison will be providing instruction on programs designed to improve communication and coordinate educational opportunities for UK faculty in the community.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; experience and working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint; and knowledge of medical terminology.
