Job Posting: Summary of Essential Job Duties: Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, as a key member of the team responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the institution, the Associate Director of Marketing will be tasked with developing marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned departments, institutes and/or established priority areas. Serving as the primary liaison with clients (physicians and administrative leadership), the Associate Director of Marketing will partner with them to establish strategic marketing priorities. He/She will then develop strategic marketing plans and coordinate their execution with appropriate areas in the Health System. Specific Duties include, but are not limited to: Developing strategic marketing objectives, goals and tactics for selected areas (departments/institutes/centers/established priority areas) Leading development/service line meetings for assigned areas acting as primary contact with appropriate colleagues in Marketing & Communications team in executing content Supervising the Marketing Project Coordinators in their day-to-day tasks Developing project scope (brief), goals and deliverables in collaboration with internal working team and service line client Tracking resources and budgets on assigned projects Partnering with Executive Director of Marketing in establishing advertising and call center strategies and tactics Developing business relationships vital to the success of the project Conducting project postmortem and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in business, administration (will accept equivalent/comparable level of education, training and related work experience) Experience: Minimum of 7 years work experience preferably in healthcare or advertising Supervision experience (either with direct reports or engaging and leading projects and 'clients') Understanding and knowledge of healthcare environment preferred Understanding and knowledge of business administration Solid project management, analytic and organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple complex projects with varied scope and impact simultaneously Demonstrated ability to work with all levels within an organization and ability to influence and results Knowledge of general accounting and financial analysis is required Demonstrated ability to create and utilize Excel spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis Ability to identify problems and resourcefulness to resolve them independently using own initiative Ability to multi-task within short timelines, organize and prioritize work and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact effectively with staff members at all levels for the organization as well as with representatives of public agencies and businesses Must be highly organized, patient, persistent and require minimal supervision in executing assigned tasks Physical Demands: Office environment: Sitting/standing, hearing, seeing, speaking, ability to work in typical office setting
