The Texas Association of School Business Officials is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Strategic Sponsorship program – one of the most successful programs of its kind in the country. Our Strategic Sponsorship program is a holistic model designed by the sponsorship experts IEG to provide comprehensive benefits which maximize sponsor engagement year-round. This position is key to ensuring TASBO’s financial future and facilitating solutions between our members and corporate partners.
Manage the Association’s Corporate Partnership Program including strategy development, sales and servicing of Strategic and Annual Partnerships. Facilitation of the program includes activation of sponsor benefits and development of sponsored programming across multiple media channels.
Work to ensure the Corporate Partnership Program is in sync with the Association’s mission and core values by fostering positive relationships and embedding partner programs successfully with TASBO programs.
Continually improve the success of the Corporate Partnership Program by factoring in value to members, feedback from sponsors and net revenue growth.
Manage exhibit sales and onsite management for the Association’s Annual, Summer, and Maintenance and Operations Conferences.
Manage the Association’s digital & print advertising sales by leading strategy, sales & servicing of contracts.
Coordinate Partner Sponsored Award Programming, including video production.
Proven track record in business development for sponsorship programs.
Excellent presentation skills.
Knowledge of marketing & sales concepts, trends and strategy.
Ability to comprehend written material and to write effectively.
Skill in long-range planning, strategy, consensus-building and project management.
Experience in event planning, including Trade Shows.
Ability to learn new software and manage basic administrative tasks.
Skill in identifying and resolving problems.
Ability to solve complex problems and build consensus.
Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities.
