Primary responsibility will be to support the Senior Director of Marketing in strategic planning by maintaining a high level knowledge of digital marketing and by managing the SEM/SEO programs for Mass. Eye and Ear. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the physician reputation management program.
Manage the digital and analytical programs including management of a new physician reputation management program (reputation.com) as well as analysis and communication of our search engine marketing (SEM) campaign to senior leadership. Responsible for all digital marketing initiatives including those which may be part of a larger marketing campaign (i.e. TV, Radio, Sponsorship etc.).
With Senior Director of Marketing, design and manage on-going actions that improve and foster physician relationships and consumer awareness. As directed, communicates and fosters relationships with community based physicians/groups and full time staff in an effort to enhance patient services, increase volume, and establish mutually beneficial collaborations with the entire medical staff. Works with managers and registration staff to guide and improve tracking efforts that help determine efficacy of implementation of marketing activities.
Creates content for the locations pages of the Mass. Eye and Ear website and works with Communication/Web team to help grow the visibility in organic search as well as to improve rankings, drive traffic and increase awareness of the range and depth of our services.
With Senior Director of Marketing, works with physicians and key integrated departments to determine the marketing strategy and campaign to increase physician referrals (especially within “network”) and patient volume. As directed, works with various internal and external resources to develop appropriate physician marketing materials.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS or BA in Marketing. MBA or working toward an advanced degree preferred. Prior experience working in a healthcare environment desired but not required. Three to five years of digital marketing experience required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe (InDesign) required. Excellent analytical, strategic and communication skills are essential. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong proactive sense of personal and team responsibility are key.
