Reporting directly to the company’s SVP of Retail, the role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing and communication innitiatives for Swire Properties Inc. The Sr. Director of Marketing & PR will facilitate the rollout of all corporate marketing programs and directives with a core focus on driving growth and profitability of the asset and our retailers. The position requires the ability to think creatively and execute strategically while managing a diverse team of marketing professionals. Manage all social media outlets for the retail center, manage marketing efforts that support the retail business objectives and provide the platform for tenants to be successful. Direct the development and implementation of marketing, community relations and public relations programs that position the asset to local consumers; domestic and international tourists and industry professionals. Provide leasing with support and collaterals for sales tools needed for use in sales presentations and negotiations. Topline Responsibilities • Lead the Marketing & Sales promotion activities of a creative and distinguished property developer and operator • Strategic planning and execution of sales and marketing plans for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Miami • Lead marketing, sales and promotion campaigns of Condominiums, Office, mid to high end retail, F&B, entertainment and Hotel properties through dedicated local teams • Monitor the performance of team members for achieving the requirement of the projects and providing hands-on guidance where necessary • Develop and Implement branding strategy and tactical planning for retail • Develop and execute sales generation strategies that improve traffic and sales • Develop annual budget, monitor revenue and expenses and adjust as needed to meet or exceed financial goals • Hire, direct, manage resources for development of creative/advertising campaigns • Create, direct, monitor media plan. Direct media buying agency and implementation of plan • Direct website develoment and creative presentation • Manage and monitor social media • Plan and execute online marketing programs • Establish programs to increase and expand databases • Monitor on-site signage to ensure execution at the highest level while complying with tenant lease provisions (barricade graphics, marketing signage, common area merchant signage, garages) • Direct and execute merchant communications and support programs • Direct Public Relations strategy and implementation including approval of press releases and targeted media outlets; monitoring/reporting results • Develop and manage shopper loyalty programs • Generate and manage promotional relationships with local attractions and other organizations • Create and manage relationships with tour operators, hotel partners, group sales professionals, Chamber of Commerce tourism council and other appropriate third parties to ensure proper and effective marketing to both domestic and international visitors. • Manage placement and execution of tourism advertising and collateral • Brand Management • Identify, analyze and evaluate Research opportunities • Implement and monitor Retail Gift Card Program and related accounting procedures • Identify, analyze and evaluate opportunities to capture non-traditional retail marketing revenue Manage brand concepts and hierarchy Manage development and promotion of corporate identities for condo’s, offices, retail and hotels Communicate and cascade our culture to all team members, agencies and partners Marketing Strategy Support the Sales teams in developing marketing plans Oversee group Customer Relationship Management strategy and execution Marketing Communications All advertising campaigns across the group, including development and production of collateral for all assets Media buying across the group, including digital media Partnership marketing and sponsorships Centre Magazine Direction & Management Internal communications ensuring all team members are up to date with all activities and press Social Media planning, agency management and execution Public Relations Manage all Swire Properties Inc. PR and communications through worldwide PR agencies Oversee crisis communications planning and execution, including coordination with SPL HK Pre-opening Planning Prepare for timely and cost-effective communications for launches of all new developments Concept Development Support the development of new concepts and developments Team Management and Development Manage a team of 5 to build understanding of all Swire Properties strategies and objectives in the areas of marketing, platform programs and signature events, social media, email marketing, shopper database, tourism and public relations.
