The University of Notre Dame (ND.jobs) is accepting applications for a Athletics Marketing and Creative Design Intern.

Support the marketing efforts of Notre Dame Athletics by thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts for use in traditional and digital advertising methods, as well as developing and implementing marketing and promotional plans for the purpose of maximizing fan awareness and attendance while enhancing the game atmosphere. This position will create marketing materials including, but not limited to: email and select social media graphics, flyers, digital and retargeting ads, and newspaper ads. Other duties include creating and sending marketing emails, data analysis for the purpose of strategic marketing efforts, and traditional marketing tasks for select Olympic sports, some of which may require comprehensive ticket sales strategies and the coordination of game presentations. The position will help supervise student workers relative to the above-described efforts. Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director or designee. This position is a one-year, full-time appointment with an approximate start date of 8/1/2017.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Marketing, Business or Graphic Design. Strong communication, interpersonal and creativity skills desired along with proficient graphic design skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a collegiate or professional Athletics Marketing office.
